Mono-prints

Mono-printing:

I did this by getting some ink and putting it on my page. Secondly I used a roller to roll out the ink so it could cover more of the page. Afterwards I used some newspaper and blotted the ink, I did this to make the ink thinner but I had to be careful not to make the ink too thin. After I used the newspaper I got the photo I wanted and put on top of the paper I will be using to get the print. Finally I used a pen to draw the photo, this made the ink get on the page where I was drawing, this made the print.

This is my first mono-print. This is the worst one I did. I think this because I didn't do my first one fast enough so the ink dried up and made it harder to get the print. The reason it dried so fast is because when I was doing the print the hot weather made it dry faster.

This my second mono-print, I think it is a massive improvement on my first one because I did this one a lot faster than my first one but it is still not very good.

This is my third and final mono-print this is the best one I made. I think this because I used a different image of Winston Churchill. I also think it is the best one I did because of the speed I did it in, I did it faster because by then i knew how to do set up the mono-print and do it.
