Andy Warhol started the pop art movement in the 1950s-1960s, he became very popular in the second half of the 20th century.
His Technique:
Andy Warhol found his technique when he was at college, he taped two pieces of paper together, drew something in ink one page and then put the two pieces of paper together.
He most famous for his paintings of soup cans:
He did this because he used to have the same lunch everyday for 20 years and it inspired him to create it.
I like his work as it's very creative but very simple
